WRJ Fried Leadership Conference 2018

Grants

“The attendees were so welcoming at my first WRJ event. This was a great introduction to WRJ.”
– Carole Flegel, Temple Shalom, Naples, FL

WRJ Fried Leadership Conference (FLC) Grants help sisterhoods, whose members have not participated in recent past leadership conferences, to benefit from the learning, networking, and spiritual growth that happens there. This year, these Grants will send current and/or rising sisterhood leaders to the WRJ Fried Leadership Conference 2018 in Nashville, TN.

Both North American and Global grant applications are due by November 10, 2017.

By applying for a grant, all grantees are committing to attend all sessions during FLC.

North American Sisterhoods

Sisterhoods selected to receive a WRJ FLC grant will receive one $495 early bird registration fee for the conference, which covers programming, materials, and meals. Sisterhoods may split up the grant funds among two or more women if desired. North American sisterhoods must pay their registration fee initially, and will be reimbursed after completing an online survey, after FLC ends.

Applications are due by November 10, 2017.

Eligibility Requirements for North American Sisterhood Applicants:

  • Will have at least one representative attend WRJ FLC 2018 and participate in all conference sessions
  • Must not have sent a representative to either of the past two WRJ FLCs: WRJ FLC 2015 in Austin or WRJ FLC 2017 in Charleston (Note: WRJ Executive Officers and WRJ District Presidents do not count as representatives as they are required to attend WRJ FLC, but WRJ Board members do count.)
  • In good standing with WRJ and their WRJ District

Global (non-North American) Women's Groups

All women's groups outside North America are eligible to apply for a WRJ FLC 2017 grant. Women's groups selected to receive a grant will have one early bird registration fee of $495 USD waived (must register by January 10, 2018), as well as stipend toward one economy class airfare of up to $1,500 USD, for one women's group member to attend. Grantees will be asked to complete a short online survey after FLC.
