Join the WRJ Delegation at the Religious Action Center’s (RAC) Consultation on Conscience, April 30 - May 2, 2017. This is the Reform Movement’s premier social justice event for leadership development, community building, and the chance to make our collective voices heard. The Consultation brings together major political and social justice speakers, thought leaders, and coalition partners, along with the hundreds of committed Reform social justice activists in attendance, to learn, train, network, and advocate.
This year, the Consultation will feature special WRJ program opportunities, including:
WRJ will be considered a Delegation, which gets a discounted registration rate of $279, plus unique opportunities to come together with WRJ women attending the Consultation. Sunday, April 30th, 9:15 -11:00 a.m.: Women’s Advocacy & Women’s Issues in the Current Congress and Beyond
Women of Reform Judaism (WRJ) will host a pre-Consultation session, open to all women attendees, on Sunday morning. This event will be held at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City Hotel (right across the street from the Consultation’s hotel).
WRJ invites all women interested in women’s advocacy issues to sign up and hear the latest updates on issues such as pay equity, reproductive justice, and violence against women. Learn about WRJ’s social justice and advocacy work and how you can advocate on these and similar issues. Discover how to empower yourself and other women with information and skills for advocacy and organizing.
This session is open to all women. There is no fee, but advance sign-up is required to participate.
Sunday, April 30th, 11:15 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.: Pre-Conference Women’s Networking Lunch
Eat, schmooze, and learn with other like-minded women at an informal, women’s only lunch before the Consultation begins. This WRJ-sponsored lunch is a great opportunity to meet and get to know other women attending the conference, and to learn about women’s advocacy opportunities.
The lunch is only open to women and will take place at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City Hotel (right across the street from the Consultation’s hotel).
$65 fee (the cost of registration covers your lunch). Advance sign-up is required to attend.
