Israel After the Election: Is There Still Room for Us?

As North American Jewish women, we have watched as Israelis went to the polls for the fifth time in four years. The results of this most recent election can have far-reaching and disturbing impacts on values that we hold dear in our relationship with Israel. These include gender equality, LGBTQ+ rights, Jewish-Arab relationships, and the place of non-Orthodox Judaism in Israel.

The Israel Education Committee is pleased to welcome Rabbi Josh Weinberg to help us understand and process the implications of this election for Reform Jews in Israel and around the world. Rabbi Weinberg is the URJ vice president for Israel and Reform Zionism and the executive director of ARZA. He is the expert you want to talk with at this time.
