Join us for a special Pride Month program led by Joy Villarreal-Belford (she/her), Southwest Education and Training Manager at Keshet. Together, we'll explore what meaningful allyship looks like within Jewish and social justice spaces, how to create truly welcoming and inclusive communities, and the current landscape of LGBTQ+ rights—including a legislative update during a pivotal month for Supreme Court decisions. Joy will offer insight, inspiration, and action steps for standing in solidarity with LGBTQ+ Jews and families, and the increasing importance of supporting LGBTQ+ folks during this politically tumultuous time. You will leave this session with action steps you can take – both personally, and within your Jewish community – to help protect and support our LGBTQ+ friends year-round.
