Together, we’ll mark the transition from Shabbat to the new week with a powerful and uplifting Havdalah experience that weaves together ritual, music, and reflection.

Song, prayer, and readings will inspire us with hope and courage to explore meaningful action and our collective commitment to social justice.

We are thrilled to be joined by Michelle Citrin, Cantor Lauren Goodlev, and Emma Aaronson, who will help guide us through an evening of spirituality, connection, and purpose.

This Havdalah gathering also serves as the official launch of our Day of Action, a North America-wide effort taking place the following day, in which WRJ sisterhoods, women’s groups, individuals, and community organizations will host programs, conversations, and service initiatives rooted in social justice and collective activism.

To support your participation in the Day of Action, WRJ has resources available, including WRJ’s programs in a box and/or a Microgrant.

We can’t wait to see you at Lighting the Way: A Virtual Havdalah for Social Action and to come together in celebration of community, connection, and our shared commitment to social justice!
