On the 15th day of the month of Sh’vat the Jewish community celebrates the holiday of Tu BiShvat, or what is commonly known as the “New Year for the Trees.” It is a time of year when we celebrate and honor the sacred and unique connection which exists between Judaism and nature. The seder is full of imagery and symbolism meant to mark the four seasons. This seder is also a call to action. It is a celebration of our relationship with nature, and a time of education and reflection. Come as we join together in celebration of this meaningful holiday as look at our impact on the world around us and change the way we interact with our environment during the coming year. During this seder, we will actively engage utilizing a few materials. The list of items you’ll need to participate along will be included in your confirmation email!
