Virtual WRJ Fried Women's Conference 2021

What to Expect at FWC

“Workshop presenters were extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic, made the topics interesting, and I learned something new!”
- Kathleen Doctor, Portland, OR

Join hundreds of Reform Jewish women from throughout North America and around the world, hailing from dozens of different sisterhoods and communities, as we gather together – virtually – to learn, share, pray, connect, and demonstrate that we are stronger together. Here are some of the things you will experience at this year's conference.

Inspiring speakers

Sarah Hurwitz, former Obama speechwriter and best-selling author, will talk about her Jewish journey in the White House.

And there's more!

  • FWC allows you to reconnect with “sisters” you already know from WRJ while meeting new friends from around the world! If you are a first-timer at FWC, don’t worry – we’ll match you up with a “buddy” beforehand, and you’ll get to experience WRJ’s infamous “audacious hospitality.” Meet other like-minded women through “schmooze” sessions throughout the weekend and use our event mobile app and Yammer to continue your connections beyond FWC.
  • FWC will honor outgoing, continuing, and incoming WRJ Board and Executive Committee members. Join us Saturday night for a special Havdalah and Installation ceremony followed by a concert in celebration of WRJ’s leaders.

Above all, FWC will give you the tools you need to become an empowered Reform Jewish woman. Learn. Share. Pray. Connect. Grow.
