WRJ Central District is now offering grants to support our affiliated sisterhoods and women’s groups in good standing for up to $500. Apply today! For questions or assistance in completing the application, please contact Pamela Feldman-Hill, the WRJ Central District VP of Development and Special Projects, at wrjcd.awards@gmail.com. Area Directors

Area Directors are your connection to Central District and WRJ!

  • When your area director contacts you (the sisterhood or women's group leader) be sure to answer her phone call and/or reply to her email.

  • If you are a new sisterhood president or women's group leader, you are not alone! Your area director is there for you to answer questions and provide support.

  • Communication is two-way; your area director will have information for you about the district and WRJ, but she also wants to hear what is happening in your sisterhood or women's group.

Central District Speaker’s Bureau

Karen Sim will arrange visits from District speakers for sisterhoods. Speakers can help with board orientations, leadership development, YES Fund events, installations, and more. Speakers’ costs are paid for by the district and are a benefit of your district dues. District Speakers Bureau requests are scheduled based on availability, and it is recommended that all requests be submitted at least three months in advance. A district affiliate is eligible to get a district speaker once every two years.

Contact Karen Sim (wrjcd.speakers@gmail.com) for all requests for speakers.

WRJ Speakers Bureau

WRJ’s Speakers Bureau affords our affiliate sisterhoods the opportunity to invite a WRJ spokeswoman to energize, inspire, educate, and motivate your leaders and general membership.

WRJ speakers are leaders of our organization. They will work with your sisterhood to prepare for a special event, celebration or retreat, and introduce your members to the special projects and programs of WRJ. They will also facilitate training workshops on any aspect of sisterhood life.

This service is provided at no cost to our sisterhoods in good standing once every two years. Speakers Bureau engagement requests are scheduled based on availability and it is recommended that all requests be submitted at least three months in advance.

Virtual Planning

We don’t know what the future is going to look like, but I’m here to help make the present more fun virtually. Central District has a Zoom account that we will host for you. You don’t have to do anything other than come up with the programming for your sisterhood.

WRJ Central District will make the account available to sisterhoods for your meetings and programming on a first come first served basis. The meetings can have up to 99 participants, last as long as you want, and can be hosted by the sisterhood or by one of the District board members.

If you have a program that you want (or it needs) to go virtual, contact Jan Goldstein at jangoldstein@gmail.com or text her at 859-815-0450 to schedule the time and get the Zoom link.
