New York, NY – Women of Reform Judaism, the feminist affiliate of the largest and most diverse Jewish denomination in North America, will be launching a two-year fellowship as part of the organization’s fulltime staff.
This unique fellowship is designed for individuals early in their professional careers who are passionate about feminism, social justice, and the Jewish community. Fellows will gain real-world experience while receiving robust professional development and high-level mentorship.
“Women of Reform Judaism is excited to offer this new opportunity for professional leadership development. At a moment when many are seeking to make a positive impact on the Jewish world and beyond, we welcome those who wish to grow and learn with us.” WRJ CEO Rabbi Liz P.G. Hirsch said.
For over 110 years WRJ has been dedicated to providing educational opportunities, leadership positions, and meaningful connections for its members. Through the YES Fund, they have generously funded programs and scholarships for Reform youth to ensure a vibrant future. This fellowship will take the next step, by providing a professional opportunity to learn the intricacies of running a Jewish non-profit organization.
There will be two fellowship positions open: one focused on philanthropy and development, and the other focused on events and programming. The two-year timeline allows opportunities to build meaningful relationships with senior leaders, professionals, and volunteers from across the global Reform Movement, as well as the ability to plan and staff North American Reform Movement events and conferences, that offer high-impact networking and learning experiences.
Both positions will start in September 2025. Interested candidates can apply today.
