In 2019 WRJ will hold its inaugural women’s advocacy conference to help women further their leadership skills in the social justice and advocacy arena, empowering them to make a difference in their local Jewish communities and in the world at large. This program will be held in conjunction with the Religious Action Center (RAC) Consultation on Conscience, which is the Reform Movement’s premier social justice event for leadership development, community building, and making our collective voices heard.
The WRJ Social Justice Conference will feature briefings and skills-based training on current issues with a women’s focus, such as pay equity, reproductive justice, women’s health, and violence against women. Those who attend this conference will leave inspired and better prepared to guide their communities as leaders and activists.
Please help make our vision for this crucial women’s advocacy conference a reality!
