Vice President of Member Services

Karen Goldberg is the WRJ Vice President of Member Services. A past sisterhood president of Women of Isaiah in Lafayette, California, she joined the WRJ Board in 2015 and has served in a variety of roles since then, including, most recently, as WRJ Secretary and Chair of WRJ’s Committee on Constitutional Amendments and Revisions. 

Karen is passionate about storytelling and social justice. After participating in the Wilkenfeld International Women’s Leadership Seminar in 2018, she created WRJ’s “Sharing Our Stories” project connecting Reform Jewish women around the world. A past Vice President of Action & Advocacy for the WRJ Pacific District and co-chair of WRJ’s inaugural Social Justice Conference in 2019, she continues to advocate for numerous social justice issues with the Values in Action team at Temple Isaiah and in her local community. 

Karen also is passionate about Torah and about Israel. She loves to study, teach, and chant Torah. She is part of the URJ's Israel Leadership Network and Temple Isaiah’s Israel & World Jewry Committee, and co-chaired the WRJ Mission to Israel in May of 2023.
