Women of Reform Judaism (WRJ) is firmly committed to maintaining the privacy of visitors to its website. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for the website at www.wrj.org. By using this site, you consent to the terms and conditions of this privacy policy. WRJ reserves the right to modify its privacy policy from time to time.

Information Collection and Use

You can have general access to our site without providing any personally identifying information. WRJ collects personally identifying information only when you voluntarily submit it, such as when you e-mail comments, request information, place an order, or register for an event.

By providing your phone number, you agree to receive text messages from this organization. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. If you are receiving text messages from us and wish to stop receiving them, simply respond with either "STOP" or "UNSUBSCRIBE" to the number from which you received the message. Once we receive your message, you will no longer receive further text messages from WRJ. 

Registration

On certain parts of our site (mainly registration forms and catalog orders), users are required to give contact information (such as their names and e-mail addresses) and unique identifiers (such as passwords, account numbers or sisterhood information). This information is used to send users the information they request and/or to fulfill orders that are created online. The contact information may also be used to contact the visitor when necessary. Unique identifiers (such as account numbers and passwords) are collected for use as account numbers in our record system. Sisterhood or account information submitted by users may be used to verify and protect users identity when they are conducting online transactions through our website. WRJ may use contact information to distribute news it deems of general interest to Reform Jews.

Online Order Forms

Our site uses order forms for customers to request information, products, and services. We collect visitors' contact information (i.e., their name, phone number, e-mail addresses, sisterhood, position held in sisterhood), unique identifiers (account numbers, passwords), and financial information (account or credit card numbers). Contact information from the order forms is used to send orders and information about our organization to our customers/visitors who request it. The customer's contact information is also used to get in touch with the visitor when necessary. Users may opt-out of receiving future mailings (see the choice/opt-out section below). Financial information that is collected is used to bill the user for products and services they purchase online. Unique identifiers (such as account numbers or passwords) are collected from Web site visitors for use as account numbers in our record system. Information that is collected on online order forms becomes the property of the WRJ. Our online surveys may ask visitors for contact information (such as e-mail addresses and sisterhood information). We may use contact data from our surveys to send the user information about our organization. The user's contact information may also be used to contact the visitor when necessary. Users may opt-out of receiving future mailings. Other contact information (such as sisterhood information) is collected from website visitors for use as account numbers in our record system. Information that is collected online in surveys becomes the property of the WRJ. WRJ does not sell, market or distribute this information and will not use it for purposes other than indicated in this privacy policy.

Security

The site covered by this policy have security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control: The WRJ online catalog uses secure servers furnished by our Internet service provider, Aptinet Incorporated (www.aptinet.com), when transferring personal and financial information across its server. Therefore, information transferred by users on non-secure parts of the WRJ site is done at the users discretion.
