YES Fund Awards

A sisterhood can receive one of the following special recognitions, which are given out biennially at the WRJ Assembly.

Kavod  כָּבוֹדSociety

Given in memory of WRJ Past President Helen M. Dalsheimer, sisterhoods who have won at least one of the below YES Fund Awards for three consecutive Assembly periods are inducted into the Kavod Society. (Note: Sisterhoods who are inducted into the Society are no longer eligible to receive any future YES Fund awards.)

L’Chaim  לְחַייִםAward

Given to the sisterhood with the highest percentage of members who make a new Lifeline pledge over the previous two-year period.

Ma’agal  מַעְגָלAward

Given to the sisterhood with the highest percentage of individual donors (who were formally called “Circle of Service” and does not include Lifeline pledges) over the previous two-year period.

Achat  אֶחָדAward

Given to the sisterhood who made the largest per-member direct contribution to the YES Fund over the previous two-year period.

Avodah  עֲבוֹדָהAward

Given to the sisterhood in each of four membership categories whose members made the largest collective direct contribution to the YES Fund over the previous two-year period.


YES Fund Honor Roll

Sisterhoods contribute to the YES Fund by making direct contributions, purchasing of YES Fund items, (such as Uniongrams and note cards), or participating in a combination of both. Sisterhoods earn honors and awards for their total annual contributions to the YES Fund each WRJ fiscal year (July 1-June 30) in the following categories:

WRJ YES Fund Honor Levels

Roll of Chai Honor: $18 per member
Roll of Special Merit: $10 per member
Roll of Honor: $5 per member
