Grants

Applications for FWC grants have now closed. Applicants will be informed shortly.

Grants are available to make FWC more financially accessible for those who wish to attend.

FWC grants will cover the full cost of an early bird registration for the conference, which includes programming, materials, and most meals.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Identify with Reform Jewish values.
  • Open to all who identify as a woman age 18+.
  • Available to women’s group members and Individual Members. If you are not currently a WRJ member in either of these ways, you can become an Individual Member as part of your FWC registration. The cost for joining as an Individual Member is $54 / year.
  • We ask grant recipients to participate fully in the FWC conference and to complete a brief post-convention online survey about their experience.

Important Dates:

  • December 15, 2023: FWC Grant applications open
  • February 15, 2024: WRJ FWC Grant applications are due
  • March 5, 2024: Notification of awarded grants will be sent via e-mail by this date.
  • April 10: FWC 2024 Early Bird Registration ends; grant recipients must complete their registration by this date.

In 2021, at Virtual Fried Women’s Conference, WRJ offered women’s groups who registered a certain number of people a rebate for FWC 2024. If you are a member of a women’s group which earned a rebate, WRJ will be contacting your group to remind you. Rebates cannot be combined with a grant for the same registration.  We hope your women’s group will be able to send multiple participants to take advantage of both offers.

We want you to be part of this wonderful event!  Please apply for a grant if this will make it possible for you to join us.
