Do you want to become better-educated and trained on social justice issues, learn advocacy skills you can utilize at home and on a larger scale, and address timely topics in a welcoming and encouraging environment? Are you ready to make a difference?

Join Women of Reform Judaism (WRJ) on April 4-7, 2025 at the Rabbi Marla J. Feldman Social Justice Conference (SJC) in Washington, D.C.! SJC is intended for anyone who identifies as female, nonbinary, or gender fluid (age 18+) interested in advocacy in the Reform Movement through a Jewish feminist lens.

SJC attendees will spend time with like-minded women+ who are equal in their dedication to advancing our Reform Jewish values through an important gendered lens and will lend a new spark to the biggest issues of our time.

The jammed-packed, four-day conference will include:

  • Inspirational speakers, including both experts and those most impacted by issues such as reproductive justice, climate, and violence against women;
  • A Shabbat experience sure to create a sacred community like no other;
  • Educational training on how to best bring social justice back to your community;
  • Lobbying on the Hill – *open to all who identify with our mission;
  • An opportunity to connect with both current and future Jewish leaders across North America; and
  • Deep connections to WRJ’s three pillars of sisterhood, spirituality, and social justice

Think of this experience as a retreat for the mind and soul. Join us to exercise your moral compass and stay current with the issues that affect us the most. Come to gain the necessary energy for the long, hard work that it takes to make lasting change.

+ Please note that use of the term “women” includes those who identify as female, nonbinary, or gender fluid.

 *All interested – including those who identify as male – are welcome to register for the “Empowerment Option” that runs from Sunday afternoon through Monday afternoon and includes lobbying training, the Women’s Empowerment Awards dinner event, and lobbying visits to The Hill.
