The WRJ Wilkenfeld International Women's Leadership Seminar is an intimate leadership training seminar, made possible in part by a generous gift by WRJ Past President Dolores K. Wilkenfeld in honor of WRJ's Centennial, for Reform and Progressive Jewish women from around the world. Held in conjunction with World Union for Reform & Progressive Judaism (WUPJ) or Israel Movement for Progressive Judaism (IMPJ) conferences, the WRJ Wilkenfeld Seminar provides global skill-building and expansionary opportunities for women to further connect with WRJ, WUPJ, and the Reform/Progressive Movement with the purpose of strengthening women’s roles in their own Jewish communities.
Participants from diverse WUPJ regional groups have the opportunity to learn about the Movement across the globe at a deep level, cultivate leadership skills, develop an appreciation for lifelong Jewish study and worship, and establish relationships with one another, with WRJ, and with WUPJ. Through this program we hope to encourage and nurture new leadership for our Reform institutions around the world.
