Hotel & Travel
Hotel:
SJC 2025 will be held at a 4-star hotel in Arlington, VA and is easily accessible from Reagan National Airport by both shuttle and public transportation. For security reasons, you will receive the hotel name, location, and WRJ group booking link after completing your registration.
The rate for WRJ attendees is $249/night + tax for a standard room with single or double occupancy room (2 double beds or 1 king bed). Attendees are responsible for making their own hotel reservations in WRJ’s discounted room block. After completing your online SJC registration, you will receive the link to make a hotel reservation in your confirmation page and email. All reservations must be made by March 12, 2025. After this date, we cannot guarantee rooms will be available or the rate which you will be charged.
Any hotel reservation cancellations or special requests must be made directly with the hotel. Hotel cancellations must be made at least 72 hours in advance to avoid a fee.
Travel:
Attendees are responsible for arranging their own transportation to/from the hotel for SJC.
For those flying:
- Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA): this is the closest – and recommended – airport to the hotel. The hotel offers a shuttle every 30-60 minutes to the airport, which is less than a 10-minute drive away.
- Dulles Airport and Baltimore Airport are farther away (over 1 hour by car) and not recommended.
For those driving:
- Discounted WRJ costs for overnight parking at the hotel:
- Valet: $32/night + tax
- Self-Parking: $22/night + tax
Check the SJC Schedule for details on program start/end times. A good rule of thumb for those flying is to land at the airport at least 1.5 hours before your program begins, and depart at least 2.5 hours after the final program ends.
Be sure to book travel that arrives in D.C. earlier than 3:30pm on Friday, April 4th to get to the hotel in time to check-in and pick up your registration materials before SJC officially begins at 5:00pm on Friday. If you plan to attend any pre-SJC program(s), please adjust your timing accordingly.
For your departure from SJC, the conference will end on Monday, April 7th at approximately 2:30pm, after your final Hill visit and time for lunch. If you are flying out of DCA or leaving from Union Station, the WRJ bus will drop you and your luggage off after you are finished on The Hill. Please be sure to book a flight that leaves after 5:00pm, or a train that leaves after 3:30pm, on Monday, April 7 so that you don’t miss any of the action at SJC! If you plan to stay for any post-SJC activities, please adjust your timing accordingly.
